Inspired by the lyrics of DDaeng, this art print set features each of the members, RM, Suga, and j-Hope, of the rap line in their iconic performance of 땡 (DDaeng in Korean).
I love this song for its creative lyrics, Korean cultural references, and also the classic rap line confidence that oozes out of every line. I knew I wanted those same elements to exist in my prints. I started with the idea of using 화투 cards. That's what inspired the duotone rendering of each member. The gold foil elements match the imagery used at the performance along with some lyrics in the background to help frame the member's silhouette.
These postcards are 5x7”, are soft to the touch, and made of a thick and sturdy 19pt (150lb) paper. The surface is water-resistant and the paper is thick enough to stand alone even without a frame. Each print has detailed gold highlights of 3D gold foil coating that shines when it hits the light!
