Arirang Hanbok Set (Made In Korea) Pre-Order ETA April 10th

Introducing our Arirang Hanbok set! Our ETA is the second week of April. If you are planning to wear this to any of the early shows, please leave a note so we can prioritize shipping your order! These Hanbok will need to reach a minimum funding number to go into production by Feb 22nd. If the funding minimum is not reached, we will issue refunds for all pre-orders.

100% made in Korea! Designed in collaboration with a Hanbok Designer, @ppobburi_official on Instagram. All materials are sourced from Korea as well. Because this is a modern version of a traditional Korean garment, it was important to us to work with a professional designer and creator as well as source all of the materials locally in Korea.

• Summer Denim with Fine Mesh Sleeve for comfort and cooling! The designer used a lighter summer denim material that is cooler and more flowy.
• We added Dancheong (단정) patterns on the neck (동정) and bottom of the skirt (치맛단) because BTS will be performing their new comeback in the Gwanghwamun Square! (광화문광장). It's also a celebration of traditional Korean patterns and culture.
  
• The ribbon (고름) features Arirang (아리랑) in a multi-colored thread, which is reminiscent of traditional Hanbok fabric Saekdong (색동) as well as the Korean national flower in gold thread
  
• We requested custom sizing to match US sizing and offer a wider range of bodies! More sizing details below.
• The right sleeve cuff has a whale with a small 7 logo with gold embroidery. The left cuff features "Est. 2013" in gold thread. We wanted to keep the design simple enough for everywhere wear, but still have that IYKYK BTS ARMY callouts. We wanted these to go beyond a concert outfit to something you can style individually and wear regularly!

The model in the photo (Tessa) is 5'6" 170lbs. Wearing size large. I felt that the upper arm was a bit tight on this sample so the final production will have a slightly larger arm opening for comfort and to accommodate the widest range of body types. Detailed sizing chart and a wearing-instruction video coming soon to this listing! We are finalizing the fit and sizes after the Lunar New Year holiday ends. Expecting to post at the end of Feb. We will email all orders with the detailed sizing chart and allow order size adjustments before full production begins.

The skirt has a range of sizes due to the wrapping nature of the design. You can also slightly adjust the length of the skirt by wearing it lower on the waist or higher. In the photo, I'm wearing in the middle of my waist.

Washing instructions
Machine wash in cold water in a fabric bag to protect the strings. Spin low and then hang to dry.
